Clinical Use Cases
Clinical Use Cases for Contactless Monitoring
Genie is designed to fit across the care continuum — from the primary care clinic to the patient's living room, from the community pharmacy to the long-term care facility. Each setting has distinct workflow requirements, patient populations, and clinical priorities. Genie is built to adapt to all of them.
Genie may support community-based screening workflows where patients already seek care, including pharmacies, community clinics, mobile health programs, and FQHC-linked care pathways.

Where Genie Supports Care
Primary Care Access
In busy primary care clinics, every second of intake time matters. Genie supports faster, more comfortable vital sign estimation — reducing friction for patients and staff alike, and creating a more complete clinical picture at the point of care.
Community Pharmacy & Screening
Pharmacies are often the most accessible point of healthcare contact in underserved communities. SGAI HealthLink is discussing and developing a proposed pharmacy-based and community primary care pilot pathway with Lynn Community Health Center and Massachusetts digital health ecosystem partners. This pilot has not yet been deployed.
Senior & Long-Term Care
For older adults, frequent contact-based monitoring can feel intrusive or uncomfortable. Genie's contactless approach reduces burden on residents and staff, supporting consistent monitoring without disrupting daily rhythms or requiring physical contact.
Telehealth & Remote Patient Monitoring
Telehealth visits already use a camera. Genie adds physiological signal estimation to that same connection — expanding what's possible in a remote visit without requiring patients to acquire or wear any additional hardware.
Hospital-at-Home
Hospital-at-home programs require consistent, reliable physiological data from patients recovering outside traditional hospital walls. Genie supports remote physiological monitoring as part of coordinated hospital-at-home care models.
Clinical Research & Validation
Genie supports clinical validation studies and research programs exploring contactless physiological monitoring across diverse populations, care environments, and investigational measurement pathways — including lactate- and glucose-related research.
